Mid Century Meets New England

Our “East Hill” Winchester clients finally had the opportunity to update the interior of their center entry brick Colonial, and looked to the JSD Design Team to bring their vision to life. They loved New England blue palettes but also wanted to inject color in other ways into the interior using nature inspired colors. A Craig Mooney commissioned painting brought in greens from the marshy landscape that is the fireplace focal point and a similar shade of green is repeated in the Mid-Century inspired entry lamp and dining chairs, creating a cheerful, laid back, family friendly vibe. The clients trusted the team throughout the process to implement the interior design, furnishing and styling including making sure that their new interior could withstand their rambunctious Bernese Mountain Dog and teenagers alike!
