Luxurious Coastal Custom Home Reveal

When my clients snagged this property in a highly sought-after Cohasset coastal location, they dreamed of hiring a designer to bring their vision to life for their family of five. They hired Justine Sterling Design (JSD) after connecting with our previous coastal projects. The JSD design team elevated the 5,000-square-foot spec home’s floor plans, adding custom details to reflect their desired aesthetic and meet their lifestyle preferences.

Our Expertly Perfected Process

We use a 15-step Discovering Home process to keep our projects on track, keep our clients informed, and keep the design studio working towards concrete goals. The couple found Justine Sterling Design via Instagram and immediately connected with her portfolio of projects that had a coastal, clean, layered, approachable vibe that was filled with texture. The new construction home is bordered by conservation land, offering views of the harbor waters and Minot's Lighthouse in the distance. The muted coastal palette feels like a huge exhale as you enter the home.

Our Custom, Completed Creation

Every detail and selection was made with intention, such as the distressed coffee table in the sitting room, where the young kids play with Legos and build puzzles. While the home is beautifully appointed, each choice was thoughtfully made to ensure it remains kid-friendly.  View the entire project here

Our Delighted Homeowners

Nothing says more than a client testimonial, and we're thrilled to share a note that our clients sent us after the project was complete:

“We are enjoying our new home so much, and there isn’t anything we would change. Our friends are building a new house and listening to their experience reminds us how fortunate we were to work with you. We feel lucky to have found you!”
— Delighted Homeowners

Thanks for celebrating this project's completion with us. It is always a bittersweet moment when projects draw to completion, and we don't want them to end. Turning a spec house into a dream home is a lengthy task but incredibly fulfilling.

We are also thrilled to announce that this project was featured in Coastal Home Magazine in August 2024. We would not have achieved its success without the following key people on our team and countless trade team members.

Architect: Tiryaki Associates

General Contractor: Ed Perry/EWP Enterprises

Warmly,

Justine
