Meet your designer
My story and what my clients have to say.
Interior Design Highlight Reel
Designing a 30-chalet game lodge in the Madikwe Game Reserve in South Africa.
Receiving a LEED platinum award for biotech client Novartis at 220 Massachusetts Avenue in Cambridge.
Working with clients like you, who are on their journey to discovering home.
My journey began over twenty-five years ago in Cape Town, South Africa.
A graduate of Cape Technikon School of Art and Design, I found a home in interiors due to my love of art, organization and the inherent nature of finding structure in chaos.
Innovative and prestigious firms have driven my career. Their philosophies can still be found in my designs today. I became a hospitality designer for Eric Hoffman and Associates, focusing on hotel design. I was then head of the in-house Interiors Project Team at Southern Sun Group, where I completed projects for hotels and restaurants within South Africa, Zimbabwe, and Kenya.
Fulfilling my goal to expand my career abroad, I relocated to Boston in 1999 and was hired by Elkus Manfredi Architects as a senior designer. The majority of my work at Elkus Manfredi was for corporate and biotech clients, namely, Millennium Pharmaceuticals, Broad Institute and Novartis.
When I became a mom, my need for effective space planning went into overdrive.
The same structure, effective space planning, and intention-filled interiors I used in my commercial projects suddenly had new meaning in my own home. (Where usable space and a feeling of peace was a necessity with two small children underfoot!)
As one of the leading local interior designers, I’ve built a portfolio of residential projects varying from small, urban condominium redesigns to kitchen renovations to entire home remodeling endeavors. Today, I reside in the greater Boston area with my husband, two rambunctious children, and one attention-seeking feline friend.
