Justine Sterling Design is growing and along with all of the incredible projects that we are working on comes an immense amount of organization, research and follow up. This new role is not design focused, but any past experience in the world of Interior Design would be valuable.
You are confident, organized, a self-starter, stylish, creative and thoughtful and kind. You will have great chemistry to work in a contributive environment.
The main responsibilities of our new part time hire (could lead to full time) are listed below:
Open new vendor accounts + obtain and catalogue price lists
Maintain Master Vendor List
Catalogue Prior Market Sources
Compile Leave Behind New Client Packets
General Library Filing/Organization + Sample ordering
Sample collection + returns
Prepare New Client Binders
Schedule Rep Visits
Order office supplies
Catalogue Project Completion Studio and Client Binders
Assisting Justine and Danielle with various tasks
Justine Sterling Design is located in Melrose in a light filled studio space, shared with artist Ellen Rolli. Justine is the principal and lead designer and works very closely with Danielle who also designs and helps manage clients and projects too. Caroline is our Client on-boarding specialist who is the main point of contact for our new clients and works (mostly) remotely. Justine Sterling Design uses the Designer Advantage software and they conduct all of their bookkeeping, order placement, management and expediting
You’ll work directly with Justine and Danielle and there may be tasks that overlap with the Designer Advantage team and Caroline.
Hourly rate based on experience
Must have own car or access to a car as needed
15 hours/week (3 x 5 hour days ideal)
